Researchers found a new plant species in the Three Gorges area
The Wuhan Botanical Garden and Chongqing Nature Museum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chongqing Nature Museum, and Chongqing Wulipo National Nature Reserve have recently published and named a new plant species -Three Gorges Baiqian. The reporter learned from the Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the 16th that the papers describing and named the Three Gorges Baiqian have been published in the International Plant Classification College "Plant Group".
Before the Three Gorges White, it is a plant in front of the oleandee family. According to the latest definition of Baiqian, there are about 90 kinds of plants in China in my country. In the process of conducting wild plants in the Three Gorges area of Chongqing, scientific researchers found that a kind of plants were suspected to be new species. By reviewing the literature, the collection of field samples, and the comparative study of related specimens, it finally confirmed that it was a new species.
