In this context, Taizhou actively declare and deploy major scientific research projects for the "dual carbon" goals, explore the potential and key technologies of geological storage in advance, and verify the feasibility of geological storage with a composite demonstration project construction, and for the development of the "carbon storage" industry in the future And gradually constructing the "Taizhou model" proven direction that collects capture, transportation, oil -removing, and sealed the entire industrial chain.

At the same time, about 350 million tons of shale oil have been initially implemented. Shale oil is an unconventional oil resource stored in the small pores of the shale layer. It is difficult to minimize. In particular, it is necessary to use fracture and carbon dioxide oil repellent technology. If the carbon dioxide is used to drive oil, it can not only achieve carbon emission reduction, but also produce economic benefits and promote sustainable green development.

It is reported that the project was jointly implemented by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Taizhou Natural Resources and Planning Bureau. The company's Taizhou oil collection plant participated in the completion.
