On September 5th, the case was transferred to the Dongshan County People's Procuratorate. After review, on April 10, Dongshan fisherman Yan Moumou captured a shark weighing about 150 catties during the operation. Since then, the shark was sold by Shen Moumou for 7,700 yuan to Jinmoumou in Sichuan South (that is, the Internet celebrity blogger "Temu"). On July 12, Jinmou filmed and released a video of sharks.

The Nanhai Institute of Aquatic Institute of Fisheries Sciences Nanhai Aquatic Research Institute conducted a DNA barcode identification of the Shark residual tissue samples for inspection, which was identified as a type of carrier and mermaids of the Schndler of the Scholars and Mouse Shark, which belongs to the national secondary protection animal. After reviewing the Dongshan County People's Procuratorate, Shen Moumou and Yan Moumou had constituted the crime of harmful and endangered wildlife, and approved the arrest.
