At present, the total installed capacity of the six pumping storage power stations in the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area is 9.68 million kilowatts. Southern Power Grid also carried out more than 10 pumping storage power stations in Zhaoqing, Huizhou and other places. It is estimated that by 2030, the scale of water storage capacity in the Greater Bay Area will expand to nearly 20 million kilowatts.
