The preliminary implementation project of Zhuzhao high -speed rail -to -Jiangmen section of the Zhuzhao high -speed rail from Zhuhai Baihai is undertaken by the Sixth Bureau of China Railway. The project has entered the main construction stage in May this year.

The Zhuzhao high -speed railway is positioned as a high -speed railway with mid -to -long -distance passenger flow and taking into account the intercity passenger flow in the Greater Bay Area.

The route starts from Zhuhai Hezhou, and arrives in Zhaoqing via Jiangmen and Foshan to connect the Guiguang Railway and the Nanyuan Railway north. It will realize the rapid connection between the east and west and southwestern region of the Pearl River.
