He has served the construction of the three generations of Beidou systems and participated in important tasks such as the trail of the Beidou 3 system. He is a pioneer of the discipline leader in this field and the application field in the field of satellite navigation and positioning engineering in China. He has achieved multiple "firsts" in the field of satellite navigation positioning in my country, overcome multiple key issues of the Beidou satellite system, and overall design has been designed The national Beidou foundation enhancement system is the pioneer of my country's satellite navigation positioning to enhance system research.

At the same time, Academician Liu Jingnan is also the chairman and chief scientist of Wuhan Navigation and Location Service Industry Technology Research Institute. His team incubated a number of Beidou Industrial Chain companies to open up the upper and middle and downstream of the entire Beidou Industrial Chain to create information information about smart cities.
