National Development and Reform Commission: my country's waste supplies cycle utilization has achieved outstanding results

At a special press conference held by the National Development and Reform Commission yesterday (22nd), the relevant person in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission stated that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, relevant departments have solidly promoted resource conservation and circular use of various tasks, and the results of waste materials have achieved outstanding results.

In 2021, the comprehensive utilization rate of solid waste in my country reached 56.8%, an increase of nearly 16 percentage points from 2012. Among them, in 2021, the comprehensive utilization rate of coal gangsters reached 72.1%, flour ash reached 71.4%, smelting residue reached 62.7%, industrial gypsum reached 72.3%, and crop straw reached more than 86%. Compared with 2012, my country's main resource output rate increased by 58%in 2021.

Compared with 2012, the annual processing volume of key electrical electronics products in my country increased by 73 million units in 2021, and the standardized processing rate increased by 44 percentage points. In 2021, the recycling and utilization of 9 major renewable resources such as waste steel, waste colored metals, waste plastics, and waste paper in my country reached 385 million tons, which was more than twice that of 2012. Regenerative resources have become an important raw material for industrial production, and the supporting guarantee for support for national resources and safety has gradually increased.

Promote the treatment of plastic pollution, improve the full -chain governance system, and reduce the risk of leakage of the plastic waste environment.
