On the morning of September 23, Wuhan City, Hubei Province held a press conference to introduce the construction of key demonstration projects of the Baili Yangtze River Ecological Corridor in Wuhan City. Since its official construction on December 7, 2020, Wuhan City has taken 16 key demonstration projects as the starting point, and has continued to promote the construction of the Baili Yangtze River Ecological Corridor.

In accordance with the overall ideas of "flood protection security, ecological priority, overall planning urban and rural, classified policies, highlighting culture, and returning to the people", the construction of the Baili Yangtze River Ecological Corridor in Wuhan City covers 284 kilometers of the Yangtze River Coastline and 112 kilometers of the Hanjiang River Bank. 1-3 kilometers. At the same time, due to water policies and local conditions, 42 high -standard transformation of the gate, a new ecological river beach area of ​​138 hectares, increasing 12 kilometers of Binjiang Bi Road.

It is understood that the ecological corridor has ecological service functions such as regulating floods, preventing soil loss, protecting biological diversity, and filtering pollutants. It is an important measure to solve the ecological crushing and many environmental problems caused by current human violent activities. It is expected to be completed in 2025.
