It is reported that the third -generation social security card that has been collected and enabled by social security functions from March 15, 2018 to December 31, 2020 will generate electronic social security cards by the national social security card platform on November 1, 2022.The cardholder needs to log in to the synchronous application channel and register as a real -name user.After December 31, 2020, the newly applied for the third -generation social security card will generate an electronic social security card at the same time when it is collected.

There are two channels for simultaneous application: Alipay applets through electronics social security cards, or cooperation banks in social security card cooperation banks, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Construction Bank, and Postal Savings Bank.
