According to the situation of Jiang Moumou's footprints and some counties in Guilin, the branch bureau led the organizing 6 public security bureaus in the urban area and some public security bureaus involved in the county to carry out investigation and evidence collection.

With the support of the Guilin City Public Security Bureau, the task force fully launched investigations, and a gang of hunting, acquisition, transportation, and sales of hunting, acquisition, transportation, and sales surfaced. After more than a week of arrest, the task force arrested 33 suspects in 7 provinces (regions), seized 9,818 wild animals involved in the case, and frozen more than 1.1 million yuan in funds involved.
