Shanghai won the 2026 World Skills Competition to host

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced on September 27 that after the voting of all member conferences by the World Skills Organization, Shanghai, China won the 2026 World Skills Contest.

At the meeting, Chinese representatives made a statement.Participants of the World Skills Organization expressed their identity and support for China's promotion of the development of the world skills movement and actively undertaking the 2026 World Skills Contest.

The World Skills Competition is hailed as "World Skills Olympic", and its competitive level represents the world's advanced level of professional skills development.So far, the World Skills Organization has successfully held the 45th World Skills Competition.

This year, the World Skills Organization will scattered the 2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition in 15 countries as a replacement event for the 46th World Skills Competition.Lyon, France, obtained the right to host the World Skills Contest in 2019 in 2019.This event is held every two years.
