According to the latest situation held by the police, the "I am myself" scam in many places in the near future. Not long ago, the WeChat friend of Ms. Sun, the citizen of Taiyuan, received the news of the borrowing of money from "Ms. Sun" to them. Because he suspected that it might be a "pretending to be a friend" fraud, friends proposed to verify whether the "Ms. Sun" was me. Soon, "Ms. Sun" posted the voice information of "I was myself".

"I was familiar with her, and I heard this voice, so I immediately transferred it." Ms. Sun's friend said that because of the voice confirmation, he did not hesitate to the transfer process, and he did not expect that the other party would be a liar. With the voice of "I am myself", Ms. Sun's four friends received a "borrowing" request for a total of 3,500 yuan.

The above -mentioned alarm situation is not a case. Not long ago, Mr. Liu, a citizen of Taiyuan, also received WeChat borrowed from the "prospective brother -in -law". The other party opened the door to see 300 yuan. He also sent a 2 -second voice "I was myself." After hearing the voice, Mr. Liu directly transferred to 300 yuan. As a result, the other party sent a message, saying that there was a "0", and the actual borrowing amount was 3,000 yuan. Since then, Mr. Liu continued to transfer and was eventually cheated 3,000 yuan.

In this scam, what is the method of scammers? Police said that there was no doubt that the WeChat of Ms. Sun and the "prospective brother -in -law" was of course stolen, and the voice of "I was myself" was also recorded by the scammers in advance.

How did the liar have the voice information of the owner? The means are not complicated. Taking Ms. Sun as an example, because Ms. Sun was obsessed with a mobile game, the scammer waited for her to chat with her on WeChat in the name of "help you recharge the game voucher", and seduced her to provide WeChat accounts and passwords. In the meantime, the scammer deliberately asked Ms. Sun if she was the nickname of the game. In order to complete the recharge process, Ms. Sun responded to the other party through voice. At this point, the scammer easily got the voice reply from Ms. Sun's "I was myself". "Specific brother -in -law" was verified by "customer service" when buying a game account online. The scammers stole the two WeChat through the Trojan virus and recorded the voice information of the two, and they completed all the preparations for the fraud conditions.

Police solemnly remind the public that during the National Day, such scams may enter a high incidence, and everyone must pay attention to prevention. First of all, be sure to raise information security awareness, do not easily disclose personal information such as WeChat accounts and passwords. If others make a transfer request on WeChat, it is necessary to confirm whether the other party is himself by phone, video, etc. to generate actual communication.
