The "Beixi-1" natural gas pipeline leaked Russia call for emergency investigation

According to comprehensive reports, on the 27th local time, the Swedish Maritime Agency issued a warning that the "Beixi-1" natural gas pipelines in Sweden and Danish waters leaked in two places.

A spokesman for the department said the leak occurred in the northeast of Bonholm, Danish, and it was unclear for the reason. The Swedish Maritime Affairs Bureau is strengthening concerns to avoid the ships from being too close to the leak.

Not long ago, the Danish Maritime Affairs Bureau reported natural gas leaks on the "Beixi-2" pipeline on the 26th. On the same day, Nord Stream 2 AG, a natural gas pipeline operator, said that the pressure of pipelines decreased.

On the 27th, the Beixi pipeline operator Nord Stream AG said that the three pipelines of Beixi were destroyed by "unprecedented" in a short period of time, and the time of repairing the facility cannot be estimated.

According to the Tas Society, the Presidential President's press secretary said "no possibility can be ruled out." He said that the decline in the pressure of Beixi pipeline is "unprecedented" and needs an emergency investigation.

"Beixi-1" and "Beixi-2" are two almost parallel natural gas pipelines, with a total length of more than 1,200 kilometers. They reach Germany from Russia through the collar of Finland, Sweden, and Denmark.

Since June this year, Russia's Natural Gas Industry Co., Ltd. (Russia) has gradually reduced natural gas to Germany with the turbines that Siemens did not repay Russia in time. On September 2nd, Russia said that due to multiple equipment faults, the "Beixi-1" natural gas pipeline will completely stop the gas transmission until the failure is eliminated.

"Beixi-2" is a cooperative project of Russia and five European companies. It can transport 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe each year. Affected by the changes in the situation in Russia, the German government announced on February 22 that the "Beixi-2" project certification procedure was suspended. Since then, many political people in Germany have called on the government to launch the "Beixi-2" to alleviate the current energy problems, but was rejected by German Chancellor Tsutz.
