On September 27, the National Development and Reform Commission issued news that the country will build the five major coal supply guarantee bases in Shanxi, Mongolian, Montania, northern Shaanxi, and Xinjiang, and consolidate the foundation of coal coal and electricity.

The country will strengthen the construction of energy security confession infrastructure, and will build the five major coal supply guarantee bases in Shanxi, Mongolia, Mongolian, northern Shaanxi, and Xinjiang. In the past 10 years, Shanxi has cumulative coal production of nearly 10 billion tons, accounting for about 1/4 of the country. In the first half of the year, the province's coal production reached 641 billion tons, and it was expected to reach more than 1.3 billion tons throughout the year. Shanxi will strictly perform the contract supervision to ensure that 620 million tons of electric coal supplied in accordance with the medium- and long -term contracts are fulfilled as scheduled.

It is reported that among the 23 provinces and regions across the country, 18 provinces and regions have increased production. Four key coal -producing provinces including Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang account for 91%of the country's increase in production, which gives full play to the main role of coal -producing provinces.
