On July 14, some netizens broke the news that many elderly people throwing garbage on the top of the cliff at an altitude of 3,000 meters. On the 15th, the staff of the scenic spot said that if the relevant situation is found, it will be criticized, but it will not be black or publicized.

According to the online video, the three elderly people were throwing the garbage and other things under the cliff below the cliff at the fence of a cliff. Video photographers said that the incident was at a 3,000 -meter cliff at an Emeishan Scenic Area.

On the 15th, Jimu Journalists contacted the Mount Emei Mountain Scenic Area. One staff member said that when a similar situation was encountered, the scenic spot could only conduct criticism and education verbally, and would not be black or publicized. "The scenic area is relatively large, and generally there are reminders of losing garbage." The staff said that there were also staff inspections in the scenic area, but it was difficult to cover all.

Regarding the items left by the elderly, the staff said that there will be special garbage cleaning staff to clean up, "this increases their burden."
