On September 4, the Press Office of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control work to report the latest situation of the epidemic prevention and control.
Yang Xiaoguang, deputy secretary -general of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government and director of the Chengdu Health and Health Committee, reported that since August 12, the city has reported a total of 1,332 local cases, of which 952 were diagnosed and 380 were asymptomatic.The number of new infections in Chengdu has shown an upward trend from August 26. In the past three days, the number of new cases of daily increases has remained between 120 and 160 people, which is decreased compared to the previous period.At present, the epidemic has entered a flat period.
