As the special plane gradually disappeared at the Incheon International Airport of South Korea, 88 martyrs finally embarked on the road to home.

Since 2014, China and South Korea have jointly implemented the transfer of remains of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army for nine consecutive years. China has taken the remains of 913 martyrs back to the motherland.

Chang Zhengguo, deputy minister of the Chinese Retired Military Affairs Department, said that this year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea.
